Free association is described as a “psychoanalytic procedure in which a person is encouraged to give free rein to his or her thoughts and feelings, verbalizing whatever comes into the mind without monitoring its content.” Over time, this technique is supposed to help bring forth repressed thoughts and feelings that the person can then work through to gain a better sense of self.

Thanks for dropping by Small Reflections and leaving a comment with a link back here to yours. I’m delighted you found mine of interest. When I do these mutterings, I often wish I could respond with a word or two … but my mind & fingers seem to have a will of their own that won’t be tamed. You’ll notice my comments are wordy too. Anyway … seems like neither of us can be intimated … and methinks that’s a good thing. I especially like your responses to Brush and Masquerade.
Hugs and blessings,

I say Desperate Housewives and you say?
Here with my Monday morning Battle of the Blogs vote for you and to ask whether your unconscious mutterings have, over 285 weeks, given you a better sense of self?

Nice mutterings. I actually like most of yours better than mine.
